NA 032 Gas Technology Standards Committee
The Standardization Committee Gas Technology (NAGas) as a part of the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. is responsible for standardization duties in the field of gas supply and gas utilization. In this content requirements regarding construction and performance characteristics about material standards, performance standards and the method of testing are specified. Within the framework of European harmonization also functional standardization is practised. The NAGas contributes in the above-named scope for national, European and international standardization. In the case of standards projects with reference to other standardization committees in the field of control- and safety engineering, e. g. Standardization Committee for Heating and Ventilation Technology (NHRS), Heating and Cooking Equipment Standardization Committee (FNH), Controls Standardization Committee (NAA) or related areas of standardization, a coordination concerning the general management and the sponsorship occurs before beginning the work.
